Zelda 2 September Arcade Block Unboxing

Written and Edited by Lynn Gerena ( GeekyGothGamerDad )

While everyone is getting ready for the mass deluge of games coming within the next two months. I and the minions have been popping open the latest Arcade Block, ZELDA STYLE!!

Yes the September Arcade Block is a tribute to the Legend of Zelda series. Let’s see what the video shows us and then I will rate each item from 1 to 4.

Well there you have it, the minions and I tore open the box now I get to tell you a little more about it and what my overall score is.

Exclusive Canvas: The Hero’s Triumph: This is an all around great piece of art. The image reminds me of the Legend of King Arthur which is one of my favorite stories. I can’t wait to frame this, so this is my favorite item which gets a 4 out of 4.

Wind Waker Exclusive T-Shirt:  I like that it's of one of at the time it released underrated Legend of Zelda by fans but those that sat through and enjoyed it has made it one of their favorites. I really loved that Link was just a shadow and the focus was on the boat and the water. The shirt gets a 4 out of 4.

5” Boo Plush:  This was a pretty cool I have always liked the boo’s and now we have our own little one to float around especially so close to Halloween. The Boo plush gets a 4 out of 4 for me.

The Hero’s Shield KeyChain :  I like the keychain and the fact that it is an exclusive to the box is a plus. This will just hang off of one of the many lanyards I have and displayed nicely. It gets a 3 out of 4.

Exclusive Galak-Z 7” record soundtrack:  I am glad that they put something of a rarity in this month’s box and though I need to fix my turntable to play it I still think it is really neat and makes me think to when I was young. The record gets a 4 out of 4 .

Springz Chicken Exclusive: Now for my least favorite thing in the box. I could have done without this and I understand why they did a chicken but come on as if I or any gamer would put this in their vehicle and automatically someone will think Legend of Zelda when they see it. This gets the lowest score I have given for any item with a 1 out of 4.

So this month’s Arcade Block gets a total score of 20 out of 24. Which overall is not a bad box. Once again Arcade Block ships without the magazine but hey we can’t win them all. I hope you guys are enjoying the stuff and make sure you go check out the AKA GEEKS podcast as well as the YouTube and Facebook Pages for AKA GEEKS.
