As you can see we have our first delay of games coming out this fall. This one being Ubisoft’s return to the Rainbow Six franchise.

In the most recent UbiBlog post. Ubisoft has announced that the feedbacks they have received from either playtests in studio or closed alpha, or recent hands-on demos at E3 and Gamescom have given them reason enough to push the release date of Rainbow Six Siege to December 1,2015.

“ based on the feedback we’ve received, and based on our own internal tests, we felt there are adjustments and improvements we can make, including improving the co-op experience across all game modes, weapon and gadget balancing, as well as menu and interface navigation. We’re taking a little more time to make these changes, and we think it’s the right call.”

The closed beta for the game will still start on September 24, 2015 as planned and the additional time they will take it to test things like infrastructure and matchmaking. That extra time in testing is for a high quality experience.

I honestly think this will work for their interest the only other competition they will have at that moment of release is Just Cause 3. Which I hope people will not make some major issue with them pushing back a game to polish. Are you guys excited for the news do you think it is ok or are you dead set with it sticking to it’s window?
