Batman Arkham Knight gets Delayed to June 23,2015

Written and Edited by Lynn Gerena ( GeekyGothGamerDad )

Earlier today Rocksteady Games announced that Batman: Arkham Knight will be delayed again and released new gameplay footage.

Batman: Arkham Knight has been given a new release date of June 23rd 2015. In an announcement made by Sefton Hill, who is the game director for the game and Rocksteady Studios.
 Below is the following statement.

Batman: Arkham Knight will now launch worldwide on June 23, 2015. We're a developer that hates to make any compromises, so we are sorry to say this means it's going to be just a little bit longer until you can play the epic conclusion to the Arkham trilogy. As a reward for your patience and understanding, and to make the wait even more unbearable, we are pleased to whet your appetite with a new gameplay video of Batman: Arkham Knight.
Thanks so much from everyone at Rocksteady for your continued support. We are working as hard as we can to make you proud.
Sefton Hill
Game Director
Rocksteady Studios

While not really a long delay the game play footage that was released today is showing that the game is coming along beautifully. I am sure that the extra time will get Rocksteady to get their vision to come across. This is one of my game of the year contenders.

On top of the delay and video footage it seems as if the critically-acclaimed Batman: Arkham series is reportedly being remastered to be released on Playstation 4 and Xbox One later this year, according to sources at IGN Italy.
Warner Bros. have yet to confirm the rumors, and numerous publications have reached out to representatives for confirmation.
The series, which encompasses Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, received almost unanimous praise from critics for it’s fluid gameplay and and exceptional combat system. Two of the greatest batman games ever and if the rumors are true I do not see a remastered edition till possibly Christmas and you have to wonder if Batman: Arkham Origins will be apart of the collection even if it was not produced by Rocksteady.

If you are curious as to the video I have placed it below.Definitely check it out.
