EA has announced that their upcoming Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare will be at a low cost as well as being a multiplayer game only.
EA announced today that their focusing on the co-op and competitive modes for Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare. The game which is due out in 2014 for Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC will not have a single-player campaign attached to it due to the focus on multiplayer.
Along with that news EA also revealed that it will price the game at $40 dollars for the Xbox One version and $30 for Xbox 360 and PC versions. EA is also planning on expanding the game with additional content through microtransactions.
EA first introduced Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare at the Electronic Entertainment Expo trade show in early June. The developer is using the same engine that powers EA’s Battlefield franchise and EA is positioning it as one of its premiere next-gen games.
