Borderlands 2 Level cap and DLC out this fall

Look for more Borderlands DLC now confirmed for this fall.



1049078_10151560420659081_2124697910_oGearbox announced at PAX Australia that Borderlands 2 will get a new DLC pack this fall.

The Ultimate Vault Hunter’s Upgrade Pack 2 will include the Digistruct Peak Challenge map and 11 levels as well as bumping the level cap of 72.

The Digistruct Peak Challenge is a new map where Patricia Tannis will let players fight high-level enemies to earn new loot. An upcoming free update will also add additional backpack, ammo and bank slots.

Gearbox will also release multiple “Headhunter” packs offering new missions and unique themed boss fights.

The first mission will be T.K. Baha’s Bloody Harvest, bringing back the character last seen in Borderlands  Zombie Island of Dr. Ned DLC. Zombie T.K. Baha will send players to fight Jaques O’Lantern, a giant pumpkin boss who will give new character customizations as a rewards.

Multiple headhunter packs are coming in the future but no say on any pricing or when they will be released.

All this new DLC is separate from the Borderlands 2 Season Pass so get ready to shell out some cash for these content.

Look for the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2 before the end of October for $5.00 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 as well as PC.
