Xbox One-80: Microsoft reverses Xbox One DRM features

Written and Edited by Lynn Gerena ( Ashe Darkthorne )

And Microsoft cowers to the Sheep and eliminates cool features on the Xbox One to please the pirates and the moaners.

Well if there is one thing this finally admits if you cry and stomp your feet at a company then they will cower and fall into your laps saying “Ok..” In their defeatist voice.

That’s right peeps. Microsoft has announced an almost full reversal of the “DRM” features built into the Xbox One. Now it will not require an online connection. (which don’t get me wrong was the only thing I would have fought for.) or the need to “ping” the Microsoft servers.  There will be no region lock and also no restrictions on trading games.

Here is the problem I get with that. People are going to not be able to get their own version of Steam on the Xbox One now and share with their family their digital material. So no “Family Sharing”. coming to the Xbox One.

Do I agree with Microsoft for caving in to those people who to be honest didn’t care what they were doing because 1) they had no intention on buying an Xbox One and 2) Just dictated that we have to stay and not advance with future hopes of having the “Steam” type functionalities on a console.

Am I happy with the decision in some parts but at the same time it costs a very revolutionary push that would have made the Xbox so much more.

  1. Cool Feature what???? those Cool Feature was the cause of major $$$$$. MIcrosoft gave their Board of director (the Pirates) and Shareholder (the Moaners as you call them) what they wanted, money back in ther pocket.

Now all they have to do is get rid of the kinect and drop the price. then maybe I pick the console up
