So here is a list of games that were shown even briefly during the event and some that were confirmed after.
EA announce Xbox One Versions of FIFA, Madden, UFC, and NBA Live
Andrew Wilson, head of EA Sports, announced a new "strategic partnership" with Microsoft. With that announcement came the reveal of four games coming to the Xbox One.
"We're developing four games for Xbox One." Fifa 14, NBA Live 14, UFC and Madden 25. All four will launch in the next 12 months.
They'll be powered by EA Sports Ignite, a new game engine. It helps "blur the line between real and virtual."
The games they showed looked good but I want to see someone sitting with a controller in hand and show me what they are doing in game. I will wait till E3 to make a definite decision on these titles.
Forza Motorsports 5 to be available at launch
Microsoft showed a gameplay video of Forza Motorsport 5 during its briefing. The gameplay footage looks absolutely stunning. Though I wish they spoke more about the game but none the less the game looks to out do any previous racer on any system out now.
Quantum Break announced from Remedy for Xbox One
This is the game that sort of made me go huh? The reason why is Phil Spencer was talking about something pertaining to television. This new franchise called Quantum Break. The reveal trailer for the new game shows off moments that mix live-action scenes and more traditional game graphics into a seamless collaboration.
In the video there’s a woman talking with a young girl, asking her about what makes her so special. The girl reaches out and touches the woman’s head, and the screen cuts to what we assume is a mental image being shown to the woman. The mental imagery looks like more traditional game visuals, and shows off a ship crashing into a bridge. Should know more about the game come E3.
Microsoft plans to have 15 exclusives in the first year and 8 of them will be new Intellectual properties. Which seems to be a great start to that launch lineup.
Activision confirms All Call of Duty: Ghosts DLC to launch first on Xbox One.
Activision and Infinity Ward gave us a look into the next innovation in the Call of Duty franchise. As a added incentive with Microsoft you will be able to play all the DLC as it releases first only on the Xbox One. With Call of Duty: Ghosts you will be part of a ragtag group of remaining armed forces soldiers after a the U.S has been crippled. You also will have a Dog as a member of your team. The graphics are superior to what Modern Warfare 3 was as they did a side-by-side comparison. This is the first Call of Duty to catch my attention since Call of Duty 2.
This was pretty much all that was available pertaining to the games as I am sure Microsoft doesn’t want to blow their loads with E3 just a couple weeks away. I am sure there will be numerous titles to be revealed come June. Till then these are what are confirmed for the Xbox One.
