Synthetic Saturday is Back on Dark Horizons and Why You Should Listen!

Edited and written by Lynn Gerena ( Ashe Darkthorne )

As you all know Dark Horizons is one of my favorite Music casts and basically favorite Floridians.

You know it must be close to the start of Spring when Edd and Theresa start their Synthetic Saturdays. This is usually my favorite time when they do the Saturday shows. Yeah I love the old school Goth but when they break out the Synth music that’s when my body does the jump. I have been listening to them since I first moved to Florida.
Both Edd and Theresa started on the local radio here as well as having their show online through the Darkcasts. I wish I would have known about them sooner when I lived in N.J but hey I made up for it when I downloaded all their Darkcasts and have them on my IPod.
What makes them different and one of my favorite is not just the music they play but they are one of the few that make you feel a part of them. Most of the people who listen always interact with them on a social level whether it is through their own site, Twitter, Facebook and their forums or the chat room which they are always in during their show even if they do not answer all the time..lol. They have been through basically all aspects of my life with the birth of both kids and just times when I need some music to listen to.
Basically they make you feel as one of their own. Also they don’t make themselves off to be some elitist music people that you can tend to hear the B.S from. Just them being their usual self and it comes across as genuine for that reason.
The music is also a great mixture of new artists and music as well as the older stuff through their “Coffin Classic”. I know one day if I can I want to snatch the two of them and asked them for an interview and put it up for you guys but I cannot recommend enough for you guys to check them out.
Hope you guys are having a great weekend and if you are looking for something new to listen to please check them out. You won’t be disappointed.
