It’s Official 2K Games Will Make WWE Games From Now On

Well this came out late yesterday but it was only a matter of time before it became official.

Take-Two Interactive is set to start a publishing deal for WWE games, which in turn makes out the information that was released during the THQ auction.

Take-Two the parent company of 2K Games released a quote to IGN that it’s expects to take over the license previously held by THQ.

"At this time, the agreement is pending court approval and we anticipate that it will be finalized shortly," a company representative told IGN. "We are very excited about the potential of this agreement and will have more to share at the appropriate time."

One good thing that comes out of this is that Take-Two plans on keeping Yukes on to helm the franchise. Yukes have been the developer on most of WWE games since 2000.

Looks like the franchise will be in great hands especially if Take-Two gets some of the nagging issues with the online play taken care of. We might see a completely solid wrestling game.

What do you guys think? Are you happy with this news?? Is there anything you would want Take-Two to improve or change in WWE Games?
