Gears of War: Judgment Leaked Online, Microsoft Issues Warning of Bans.

Here we go another Top Tier Microsoft Game gets leaked on torrent sites a month ahead of release.

That’s right fellow gamers a complete copy of Gears of War: Judgment has a leaked a month before it’s official release date. Microsoft has vowed to take “vigorous action” against anyone caught playing this illegally downloaded version.

“We are aware of isolated cases in which Gears of War: Judgment content has been propped on the web and are working closely with our security teams and law enforcement to address the situation immediately,” a Microsoft spokesperson told Eurogamer. Seems like that has been the norm when Microsoft has one of it’s 1st party games having a release.  I must confess that for a while I understood why some people would download copied games but at the same time I don’t see with how quick big titles get price drops don’t they just wait?

As what Microsoft has in store well players caught playing this illegal copy could face lifetime console and account bans–similar to what happened following the Halo 4 leak last year. “Playing pirated copies of games, such as Gears of War: Judgment, is a violation of the Xbox Live Terms of Use and will result in enforcement action, such as account and console bans,” the spokesperson added.

I do hope those that get the copies don’t post any YouTube vids because that is “always” a smart thing to do. I am sure it will be flooded and blocked from the video site soon enough.
