The Walking Dead: The Game -- Episode 3: Long Road Ahead Review

As you all know The Walking Dead: The Game Episode 3: Long Road Ahead released yesterday for the Xbox 360 and PC as well as the PlayStation 3 on Tuesday.

Well for all it is worth I Hate and Love TellTale Games, Let me explain why. Never in my life had I invested so much in a group of characters so much that it brought me to tears close to the end of this episode.

When I started the game with Episode 1 I was going to make Lee the pivotal go to guy as for decisions and morality choices and up to that point leading into Episode 3 I was doing really well.

Then this episode released and it had you second guesses all your choices and wondering if things are going to play out the way you wish. The episode comes at a major price and it is heart wrenching.

I won’t post spoilers but it is one that has to be the hardest decision to make in a video game to date. Of course with this episode Lee and his group of survivors are forced from their “homestead” and have to find new living arrangements but not without walkers and moral dilemmas as well as a complete trust breakdown.

I want to applaud the story developer of this game. Telltale Games has made me emotionally connected with a group of people as no other game has done before.

This episode visually is just as great as the first two episodes. Is this the best of the series. I want to say I hope not because we still have so much more to go through. I want to see these people through to whatever end comes their way. This is definitely the most impactful episode of the series.

So on my rating of a scale of 1 to 5 I would definitely give The Walking Dead: The Game-Episode 3 a 5 out of 5. Do not pass this one up.
