Gamestop’s Cloud is a No-Go for Consoles
“Based on consumer feedback, our success in mobile devices, and imminent launch of new consoles, we have decided to move our technology to a PC-based model,” GameStop president Tony Bartel during a conference call with investors today (via Gamasutra). So after a beta they had they plan to deliver their cloud service to PC, tablets and internet capable televisions.
Looks as if the kiddos won’t get their streaming Call of Duty games anytime soon on their console of choice at least for the moment.
Castlevania Lords of Shadow: Mirror of Fate won’t see Daylight till 2013
Seems as Konami has delayed Castlevania Lords of Shadow: Mirror of Fate for the 3DS until 2013. Originally the game was suppose to be a Fall 2012 game, there is no reason as for why the game was bumped off the initial time window.
I know my friend Magma will not like this news, but he can settle with the fact that Konami released new screenshots of Alucard and Simon Belmont.
Catwoman to get Armored Cat Gear for her Wii U debut in Arkham City Armored Edition
I love the Batman games but will this make me want to get this game again for the Wii U? I don’t know. We will have to wait and see. Anyway how do you like the Wii U box art for the game shows Batman in his Armor Tech. Pretty Spiffy huh??
Deadpool News from GamesCom
The game is being written by Daniel Way and is said to have many aspects of Deadpool’s insanity.
Look for this to go along the lines of X-Men Origins:Wolverine as for M rating which should make for a great game.
Ghost Recon Online beta has opened up to the public
The Ghost Recon Online beta is available at the game’s website. I have been in the beta for quite a bit and enjoy it immensely.
The game is a free-to-play shooter set in the Ghost Recon universe, You would assume that with an open beta it means the game has released but you can expect the game developing team to continue to polish it.
Castle Crashers are Crashing their way into Steam
The best (IMO) arcade beat-em-up released for this console generation Castle Crashers will finally be coming to Steam. No specifics as to when the game’s release will be but Behemoth only said “it’s almost here!”.
The Steam version will be playable at Gamescom as well as PAX Prime in two weeks time alongside Xbox Live Arcade’s Battleblock Theater.
The Steam version is said to support gamepads, Steam Cloud and local and online multiplayer.
