Quantum Conundrum News...Oh and Final Fantasy Versus 13 not canceled.

I hope everyone is having a great day. I am a little behind due to taking the kids to grandma and grandpa's house to play and daddy had to help with some computer work for my mother in law. Anyway post is chock full of goodies let's get to it.

Quantum Conundrum to get double the fun w/DLC this summer.

Two new DLC packs are on their way for  Quantum Conundrum, Square Enix announced today. The first is titled "Desmond Debacle" and the second one is named "IKE-aramba!" and will be available later this summer for 240 Microsoft Points or ($2.99) each.

Desmond Debacle DLC Pack is set to release on Steam first on July 31st; PS3 and Xbox 360 will get the DLC on August 14th and 15th respectively.  Seems the title character Desmond is a self-professed "drinking bird" that will guide you through a new section of the Quadwrangle Mansion.

IKE-aramba! has you rescuing an Interdimensional Kinetic Entity,or IKE. This DLC pack is set to launch on Steam on August 28th, followed by PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on September 11th and 12th.

Seems if Steam players picked up a season pass they will get these DLC packs as part of their purchase.

Skyrim 1.7 Update details

With Skyrim already having released a recent update that included kill cams on consoles. Steam players are lucky enough to get the latest update as a Beta for all PC Players.

Though it is available for Steam Update 1.7 will take a little bit before we see it on consoles. Bethesda also stated that PlayStation 3 owners will have everything that was suppose to be in the last update as well. So mounted combat is coming to the PS3.

Here is a breakdown of what the update is set to include:

*General memory and stability optimizations
*Fixed crash related to new water shaders
*Fixed rare crash related to dragon landing
*Fixed logic error with loading screens from add-ons. (Xbox 360)
*Using vampiric grip and swimming no longer prevents swimming animation from playing afterwards.
*Improved recognition with Kinect voice commands (Xbox 360)
*Kinect-enabled dragon language shouts for French, German, Italian, and Spanish work properly.(Xbox 360)
*Fixed issue with Dawnguard Kinect-enabled dragon shoutsfor French, German, Italian, and Spanish. (Xbox 360)

I know I am glad and look forward to many updates for Skyrim for I am investing as of this moment almost 250 hours. Mind you that is just from exploring the game is a fantastic time leech and worth every minute playing.

Final Fantasy Versus XIII not as dead as we were led to believe.

So last time I mentioned how Final Fantasy Versus XIII may have sung it's swan song according to many "reliable" sources that spoke to Kotaku, well Square Enix president Yoichi Wada that is not the case.

Announcing earlier today on his own Twitter page Wada stated how he had been at a regular meeting about the game and that fans will be surprised with how it is coming along. Now this is good news considering the game has been in development for about 6 years. Glad to see they are not quite finished with it yet and are continuing to work on the game.

New Left 4 Dead DLC is delayed for XBox 360

The last bit of news I have is that the new Left 4 Dead Cold Stream DLC is out on Steam today, Unfortunately Xbox 360 owners have to wait just a bit longer.

Valve is working with Microsoft on a release for the DLC and the Left 4 Dead Dev  team tweeted today. They hope to have it out "soon".

When Cold Stream does release it will set you back 560 Microsoft Points($7). The DLC is free for PC and Mac via Steam.

Well that is all for today hope you guys have a good one and I will see you soon.
