Rainy Day and just gaming tidbits.

Could Team Fortress be coming to the Adult Swim on cartoon network? Are you guys prepared for two big DLC's releasing next Tuesday??

So today is a laid back rainy day and I am taking a break from my games while the kids are snacking and my wife is working on new projects. I saw late yesterday that Valve and Adult Swim announced that they are working together on a mystery project to be announced next week. A promo page on the Adult Swim website is touting the team-up with a tease for interested viewers. "Adult Swim & Valve are teaming up for something that you'll probably enjoy," the site promises. "To learn how their video game peanut butter will be getting in our network's chocolate, come back next week." Now there is no certainty that this could be a Team Fortress tv series, but the game is splatter all over the web page. I can only assume it is a safe bet to say that this is definitely what they have planned. Do you guys think this would be great? Is Team Fortress funny enough to carry a series?? I hope so besides Robot Chicken and Metalocalypse I usually stay away from Cartoon Network.

On the DLC front there are two heavy hitter games releasing content for their respective Titles. The first is the larger of the two with Skyrim finally getting the Dawnguard expansion. Though not as big as Shivering Isles for Oblivion it still looks AMAZING. The other game getting content is Mass Effect 3 which hopefully will satisfy all those baby waa-waa's who complained about the ending to the game. Bioware announced that Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut would be released for free on June 26th. Now I myself do not own ME3 because for one I have not finished the first two games. I did not get caught up in the hoopla that people did for the tirade on the company's decision for an ending. Although people should realize that every bit of DLC they have put out has been free for them except for "From the Ashes". I myself would have appreciated if they stuck to their guns and not done anything pertaining to the ending to support their work on the game. Guess the 1% that bitch enough gets their just desserts with gaming companies. Not the first time if you check the Gears of War forums that one percent is what complains and gets their way with Epic and still calls themselves true fans.

Complaints to the point where you change a person's work to cater to a collective is ridiculous but it is what it is. The company believes that this small percentage is what drives their sales and they feel obligated to keep them happy. Anyway back to my subject before my lil tangent. I am looking forward to the Skyrim DLC and I will download the ME3 content as well because I know I will play ME3 and enjoy it. I mean it's no Dragon just kidding but I love Bioware as a company and look forward to anything they do.

Anyway I hope you guys are enjoying your day, afternoon or night and enjoy your weekend.
