Dead or Alive bunnies and a few deals of the week.

So Tecmo Koei announced their pre-order items for their upcoming game. Dead or Alive. All I can say is it getting steamy here or is it just hot??
Anyway here is what you will get if you pre-order from any of the retail outlets. Preorder at GameStop or Amazon and get a set of in-game bunny-style swimsuits for three of the female characters.
GameStop has the "DOA Angels" white suits for Kasumi, Leifang and Hitomi, while Amazon gets the black "DOA Devils" version for Christie, Tina, and Ayane. I for one hey the exclusive deals when they are different because not everyone can afford two or three or even 4 copies of a game just to get the pre-order exclusives. I do appreciate if they are timed exclusives and then get released later but besides that I think it is crazy to those who like complete games.
You know companies need to release their "exclusives as regular dlc after the exclusivity is up. I would have love to have gotten the Ghostbusters Golden Proton Pack or Mayor and Ghoul skins that were pre-orders for Best Buy and Wal-Mart but never got released. Any way I would love to say these "swimsuits" look hot but they only released the one image above.
An exclusive Collector's Edition has also been announced, though you can only get it at GameStop.
For $79.99, this version will come in an embossed shell case,
and inside you'll find all the swimsuit costumes(supposedly), an art book, a CD soundtrack, and a poster.

Image 1On other news front Nintendo states that the Wii U will be priced fairly.  In an interview with Japanese newspaper Yomiuri Shimbun, (translated by Andriasang), Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata did not reveal a firm price for the console, due worldwide this holiday season, but said it will be sold at a "reasonable" rate. "We won't make the same mistake that we did with the 3DS, which was considered relatively high by consumers," he said. I am sure they are looking to compete with what the harware prices are at the moment which is in the $299.99 range so if they plan on getting a good lead on the other companies you cannot hit that price point. That is unless you had a "Halo" or "God of War" type game headlining your system which Nintendo doesn't. I would not be surprise if they hit the shelves at $249.99.

Ok here are some deals happening on Xbox Live.

  1. Not a big fan of the DOA series. It's OK, but I never considered it a true fighter. It's just a fun game with T&A. And the pre-order bonuses aren't enough for me to run out and get this one. And you need to get Worms 2 and Ms. Splosion Man. If only so we can play.
